I kind of like the summoning stone change, because it forces everyone to put some effort into the pot of the group instead of a select selfless few who always head out which reinforces that stratified behavior, or those who draw the short straw or whatever.

I like that it's an ante of sorts and at least everyone's time is vested up front and therefor the group has a little more incentive to stick together since they've ALL got sunken time in the endeavor and not just those who rolled out. Also makes warlocks a little more valued as a class.

I never understood why people don't get up and haul their ass to the instance. Sounds like people actually don't want to run dungeons. :mad2:

Today I watched as an alliance player created a group by using Alliance chat, the 10 man group got together and did the instance. Would it have taken any longer with summoning stones? no. It didnt put people off joining, and it allowed the horde the chance to engage in world pvp had they been in the correct zone, this is exactly what Blizzard had in mind. A couple of horde players in the correct zone could have got an easy 5-6 kills off an unprepared group. This to me is better for our server in the long run.

If players cant be motivated to travel they are not really interested in playing, and will be afk half the run anyway. The issue is more that players are not motivated enough to start groups themselves, and guilds tend to do this internally, so unless you are part of one of the big guilds as you level you will struggle.

Just some thoughts :-)
