Patchnotes - 2015-12-21

Hey guys,

it's about time again, we'll patch soonish :)

We'll patch on monday, 21st at 20:30 / 08:30pm server time! The server will be down for 4 hours.

Make sure you delete your WDB folder to prevent any weird issues!

The patchnotes are finalized. :jump:

General
- War Effort
- Trees should no longer prevent LOS.
- Magic reflection spells should no longer be dispellable.
- Spells that create items should now check the target's inventory instead of the caster's.
- A creature being immune to a spell should still aggro.
- Players - should now receive honorless target buff after using HS.
- Removed leather from loot table of all creatures that are not supposed to drop leather.
- Corrected default text of npcs.
- A taunted creature will now stay on the taunter even after the debuff wears off unless another player does enough threat to pull aggro.

Reputation
- About 2k quests have had their reputation gain adjusted

- Timbermaw - Corrected reputation gain for all quests.
- Thorium brotherhood - Corrected reputation gain for all quests.
- Argent Dawn - Corrected reputation gain for almost all quests.

- Silithus Corrected reputation gain for a lot of quests.
- Zul'gurub - Upgrading a piece of class armor should now grant the correct amount of reputation.
- Zul'gurub - Upgrading the class necklace should now grant the correct amount of reputation.


Special creatures/NPCs/events
- Rare spawns fixed - spawns, loot, paths, pooling
Tirisfal Glades (Lost Soul, Tormented Spirit, Muad, Bayne, Ressan the Needler, Fellicent's Shade, Deeb, Sri'skulk)
Dun Morogh (Edan the Howler, Gibblewilt, Timber, Great Father Articus, Hammerspine, Bjarn)
Duskwood (Lupos, Naraxis, Lord Malathrom, Commander Felstrom, Fenros, Nefaru)
Westfall (Brack, Slark, Leprithus, Foe Reaper 4000, Vultros, Master Digger, Sergeant Brashclaw)
Western Plaguelands(Scarlet High Clerist, Scarlet Executioner)
- Lady Vespia (rare in Ashenvale) - double spawn removed.
- Kovork (rare in Arathi Highlands) - added.
- Jubling - corrected model
- Captain Fairmount (The Barrens) - shouldn no longer fear/stun herself.
- Bloodscalp Mystic (Stranglethorn Vale) - corrected combat ability.
- Gogger Geomancer/Stonepounder/Rock Keeper (Stonetalon Mountains) - corrected gossip & should no longer earth shock themselves.
- Dalaran Conjuror (Tirisfal Glades) - should now be friendly to Alliance.
- Firegut Ogre Mage (Burning Steppes) - should cast Fireballs now.
- Rexxar and Misha (Desolace) - added missing armor, they should now aggro alliance players.
- Deathclasp (Silithus) - added missing patrol.
- Raider Jhash and Raider Kerr (Durotar) - should be running.
- Guards in Southshore and Tarren Mill - adjusted damage, armor and level.
- Slave Workers - added armor, should be hostile towards players, run away on low hp and make a run for it when Dark Iron Taskmasters die.
- Spirit of Azuregos - should no longer be attackable.

Western Plaguelands
- Soulless Ghoul - should no longer be considered elite, adjusted damage accordingly.
- Blighted Zombie - should no longer be considered elite, adjusted damage accordingly.
- Hungering Wraith - should no longer be considered elite, adjusted damage accordingly.
- Wailing Death - should no longer be considered elite, adjusted damage accordingly.
- Searing Ghoul - should no longer be considered elite, adjusted damage accordingly aswell as added missing spell.


Items/Objects
- Waterlogged Envelope - adjusted respawn time.
- Black Amnesty - should now correctly reduce threat. (Won't show up in combat log)

Quests
- Sully Balloo's Letter - Arathi Highlands/IF - added missing RP at quest complete.
- Sara Balloo's Plea - Ironforge - added missing RP at quest complete.
- A King's Tribute(2) - Ironforge - added missing RP at quest complete.
- Seeping Corruption(1) - Undercity - added missing RP at quest complete.
- Seeping Corruption(2) - Undercity - added missing RP at quest complete.
- Seeping Corruption(3) - Undercity - corrected text.
- Confront Yeh'kinya - Tanaris - added missing RP at quest complete.

- Book of the Ancients - Desolace - Fixed spawning of Lord Kragaru.
- Your Fortune Awaits You... - Darkmoon Faire (Deadmines & Wailing Caverns) - scripted.
- Guardians of the Altar - Winterspring - Should no longer bug out in the first cave.
- Zandalarian Shadow Talisman - Zul'Gurub - Fixed spelling error in quest title.
- Breaking the ward - Azshara - scripted.
- Stave of the Ancients - Un'Goro - Simone the Seductress should now immediately be silenced when hit by Viper sting.
- Jailbreak - Marshal Windsor should now gain armor when he equips his armor.


Classes
General
- Blood Fury (Orc racial) - should now correctly grant 25% of base attack power instead of 25% of total attack power.

Druid
- Barkskin - should now correctly reduce physical damage taken by 20%.
- Speed bonus from the PvP set should now correctly be re-applied when moving from inside to outside while shapeshifted.

Hunter
- It should no longer be possible to call a dead pet.
- If an unflagged pet attacks a player the pet and the owner should get flagged for pvp.
- Auto-shot - should now always pick the selected target.
- The set bonus Expose Weakness will now stack.
- Freezing trap - should no longer share diminishing returns with Scatter Shot.(Same as sap and hibernate)

Paladin
- Different ranks of Judgements - should no longer stack.

Priest
- Power Word: Shield - should now generate threat equal to 50% of healed.

Rogue
- Vanish should now be cancelled when the rogue unstealths himself.
- Combo points should reset whenever player switches target.

Shaman
- Frost Shock - should now be subject to diminishing returns.

Warlock
- If an unflagged pet attacks a player the pet and the owner should get flagged for pvp.

Instances

Blackrock Depths
- The bar - added some dancing.
- Slaves - shouldn't be so noisy anymore.
- Bridge event scripted.

Dire Maul
- (Tribute) Guard Slip'kik - should now be trapped inside an ice block.
- Corrected respawn for all bosses.
- Tsu'zee (rare) - added (fixed equipment, hitbox, pooling)
- Corrected where mizzle spawns after king gordok is dead.

Maraudon
- Theradrim Guardian and Theradrim Shardling - should now all have the correct respawn timer.
- Nameless Prophet (rare) - corrected respawn timer and added multiple spawn locations.

Scholomance
- Diseased Ghoul - removed low lvl loot.

Shadowfang Keep
- Wolf Master Nandos event scripted.

Stratholme
- Crimson Rifleman - should now properly engage in combat

Lower Blackrock Spire
- Challenge to Urok - scripted properly.
- Mother Smolderweb - should no longer be skinnable.
- Scarshield portal - should no longer be targettable/killable.
- Urok Doomhowl - should no longer stop attacking sometimes.
- Urok Enforcer - added missing armor and weapon.

Blackwing Lair
- Bronze Drakonid - should no longer drop silver.

Emerald Dragons
- Should now drop Dreamscales and Green Dragonscales when skinned.
- Demented druids - should no longer drop silver.

Molten Core
- Majordomo Executus - should no longer be hostile while invisible.

Zul'Gurub
- Jeklik - reworked script.
- Venoxis - adjusted hitbox.
- Thekal - added missing RP in transition to phase 2 aswell as fixed a bug where he wouldn't reset damage after a wipe.
- Jin'do - added missing pats in the area.
- Jin'do - players should now be teleported above the pit and Hex should behave like a normal polymorph.
- Shades of Jin'do - should now be immune to AoE.
- Jinxed Hoodoo Pile - should now have a chance to MC players.
- Gahz'ranka - should now give the correct amount of reputation.
- Hooktooth Frenzy - should no longer be skinnable.
- Bloodseeker Bat - should no longer bug out and reset / not be attackable.
- Frenzied Bloodseeker Bat - added missing armor.
- Gurubashi Bat Riders - added missing emote and should now be immune to interrupt/stun.
- Zulian Cub - should now run away on low hp, added missing emote.
- Hakkari Witch Doctor - added missing spell and they should now spawn a spirit when they die.
- Voodoo Slave - corrected spells.
- Razzashi Broodwidow - should now spawn adds upon death instead of Razzashi Venombrood.
- Updated hitbox for Gahz'ranka and Hazza'rah.
- High Priestess Jeklik, High Priestess Arlokk, High Priest Venoxis and High Priest Thekal - should now be tauntable.

Edge of Madness
- Summoning event scripted.
- added missing pats.
- Gri'lek - corrected model.
- Mad Voidwalkers - should no longer drop anything.
- Mad Servants - should now be linked with other mobs.
- Hazza'rah - reworked script.

Battlegrounds/PvP
- Adjusted invite system (Teams should now be kept even.) (Hotpatched on september 2nd)

Even though I can't wait to see AQ again, War Efforts with the current server population would be a big big mistake in my opinion. If you don't scale the Efforts down, it'll take ages to gather the materials and a lot of people will get bored with it. If you do scale them down to the current population the AQ opening event will be underwhelming. We have one guild on each side who can do the chain quest.

I'd love to see AQ, but please keep in mind that this event is the biggest serverwide event there is in vanilla WoW and you can only do it once.

In my opinion the current raid content has enough issues as it is, we don't need a rashed AQ opening to - maybe - lure in some pop.

Frankly, I'm excited for it. Nothing helps motivate population for a raiding game than competition in raiding.

Would great to see the opposing factions/guilds stir some competition for AQ. Right now the server is in a doldrums, content on farm leads to players getting bored.

Releasing AQ right away or waiting till the population rises both have it's pros and cons, however it plays out i'm sure it will be awesome and i can't wait. (lol at AQ8+12boxes though)


That being said wtb sulfuras hand of rag fix so i can scorch some insects when AQ arrives, it would make me the happiest paladin alive.
