Patchnotes - 2016-03-24

We'll patch on thursday, 24th at 15:00 server time! The server will be down for about 90 minutes.
Make sure you delete your WDB folder to prevent any weird issues!


General - temporary changes during the War Effort
- Decreased respec costs (divided by factor 20)
- Increased auction timers (multiplied by factor 3)
- Cut required resources for the War Effort by 50% (resources which are above 50% get redistributed)
- Decreased starting numbers for all BGs (3vs3)
- Unified global chat

General
- Theramore Practicing Guards - should now be training
- Brother Malach (Undercity) - event scripted
- Sergeant Houser (Undercity) - added missing quotes

- Arena event scripted

They will get distributed equally to all, regardless of faction and level.

Unless they spread it out so each bar gets an equal percentage, which would leave more variety of resources open for farming.

In my head, I see all the overflow stacks being divided up amongst the remaining materials based on their percentage completion.

A material with 50% remaining would get 5%, while something with 10% remaining would get 1%, for example.

Although this speculation is completely useless (patch going live in 1.5 hours :grin:), it's always fun to speculate ;) I assume the percentages higher currently higher than 50% will be set to 100% and the extra percentage will be divided by all other resources equally. For example we need to complete resources 1, 2 and 3. Before the patch:

1: 100%
2: 30%
3: 0%

After the patch:

Doubling
1: 200%
2: 60%
3: 0%

Divide percentages above 100%
1: 100%
2: 110%
3: 50%

Repeat previous step:
1: 100%
2: 100%
3: 60%

But we'll see soon enough what will actually happen :P

Edit: After rereading Manatee's post I think he's saying the same

Ah, I thought it would be more like an even distribution of raw materials rather than percentages. So...

Pre-patch -
1: 100% (20,000 out of 20,000)
2: 30% (30,000 out of 100,000)
3: 0% (0 out of 400,000)

After Patch - everything reduced by 50%
1: 100% (10,000) + 10,000 extra
2: 60% (30,000 out of 50,000)
3: 0% (0 out of 400,000)

Re-distribution - extra 10,000 gets split among the other resources
1: 100% (10,000)
2: 70% (35,000 out of 50,000)
3: 1.25% (5,000 out of 400,000)

That's what I think Muggle meant. But what do I know? :P I guess we'll find out #soon

I hope not, because that'd mean that all fishes and higher lvl stuff will be completed and we still have to farm tons of bandages. I copied the current war effort progress so we can see what it looks like after the patch :)
