Panda Hunts!

The Panda got bored at IF and decided to go for a stroll... And then decided to hide!!! Again, the greatest heroes of the realm traveled across the capitals and towns looking for the furry thing - And this time, they had faction competition inside their own turf .

RING OF VALOR - CRATE FASTHAND : (team mode)

The first of the Ring of Valor games.

If you didn't know, the Ring of valor is an arena inside Orgrimmar northeastern sector, sealed off by an invisible barrier and accessible only with GM powers.

The place does not have arena zone rules (Gurubashi, Dire Maul) and being inside a capital it does not allow for duels, so despite its fine barrier and layout, it only allows for PvE and faction versus faction games.


In this simple game, Alliance and Horde teams were spawned on both entry hubs of the ring, and a crate at the flag by the center. The crate is a customized Stratholme Supplies Crate ( http://db.vanillagaming.org/?object=181085 ) , set on purpose to respawn every 10-25 seconds and to loot for 1-4 vials of Stratholme Holy Water ( http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=13180 , max stack = 50 ) .

Prior to the game start, players are stripped of any strat holy water stashed in bags. So we advise you to bank yours as you will be checked by a GM.

As the game starts, both teams are allowed to race for the holy water crate, or for each other.

At the end of the time limit (prototype run.... we used 30 minutes with time freezing for event maintenance on wipes), the team who shows the most Strat Holy Water won.

SUB RULES:

As in Any TR /FS event, please dont release if you die. Releasing will make returning you to the game harder and slower. If you die, lay down, send the GM one msg asking for a rev. In this particular game, put an A or H on the side of your rev request so the GM will know in which faction "safe" hub to revive you at. Like this: (Fallen: -"Rev (A)" ). Remember that reviving before end of a fight may just spell a second death, might be better to rev as a team.

Revives during* match are given / conceded at the GM discretion but know that for every combat revive conceded to your side, one will be conceded to the enemy side, requested or not till they are even in the GM´s math.

If a side wipes (leaving the other side free to loot the crate!) the GM will go to their "safe" hub, raidwarp all dead players positions to his own feet, and then revive them using the raiders name links. This is done regardless of request.

VICTORY: At the end of time (in prototype/timed mode) the GM will declare "last wipe" and let them play one more run at the crate. This is to make sure that a battle does not break due to time out. When a side wipes, tho, the GM will recover them, go the the center, count to 5, and despawn the crate. After that the GM will list the participants inventories again and/or ask them to faketrade the water to him for counting score.
An easier and faster way to verify score in real time during the match is under study to create optional ways to play.


If a side grieves the "safe" hub of the opposed side, The GM is free to warp his whole team to their own hub, possibly breaking the looting of the crate, with no more than one* warning. Consecutive grieving inside the safe hub may spell a player's disqualification.

QUITTING THE EVENT: As In any event, we use the raid mode to ease warping. So if you want out, remember to leave the event raid, as event warps will continue to reunite the whole raid. Please dont complain about wasted hearthstones if you HSed before leaving your event raid. If you quit an event, do not expect a rewards voucher.

VOUCHER FORMAT: For this event, vouchers will mention to the agent if the side of the awarded player won or just participated. How that will play in the reward is, as usual, left to the will and possibilities of the rewards agent.

AVERAGE HKs PER MATCH: Not determined yet but a player reported almost 50 in one event. (Apparently it was 100 hks per hour for the winning team )
